Microsoft Security Concern Box in TeamRaiser

Options
When people are registering for a Walk of Hope in Teamraiser, they are seeing a Microsoft Security Concern box. Is anyone else having this problem? If so, how did you fix it? I'm worried that it is impacting the number of people registering for our event. Help!

  • Could you include a link so we can see what you mean?

We have a similar or maybe the same issue with non SSL TeamRaiser pages that have login fields. In Firefox in particular there are warnings that probably discourage users. I think the fix is all TeamRaiser pages should be SSL. This is our page - http://web.massaudubon.org/site/TR?fr_id=1040&pg=entry

If this is the same issue please bring it up with your Customer Success Manager.

We've brought it up with ours but the more customers that are requesting it the sooner it will get fixed I'd imagine.
  • Hi Matthew,

just in case -- those non-secure Teamraiser pages have their secure counterpart actually, add "S"  (sans quote) before the "TR"  within that URL parameter and you'll be set, LO will convert the URL into the secure counterpart -- this is especially true for those page type id 26 i.e entry page, team page, personal page (you could check the value of the page type through S4 tag)

    https://secure2.convio.net/mas/site/STR?fr_id=1040&pg=entry

Thus with that said you'll want to update any links that will bring users to those pages with this above mentioned approach

Alternative to this -- you could replace that inline login with a login button that goes to a dedicated stand alone secure login page, and once they logged in you could have them be redirected to whereever they were (i.e. there's that NEXTURL parameter within the login form action that serves as redirect)

Those will definitely resolve the compliance issue of those recent browsers ruleset

    regards,

    Daniel

  • We are having this same problem. The situation where we are seeing this security warning coming up is when we have the link to the person's participant center in an autoresponder

Hi all! Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I'd recommend that everyone open a support ticket (or someone who is authorized to do so) to help us track the issue and get it resolved for you all as soon as possible. Thanks!
