Emailing Event Participants

Options
All, am looking for some support here.

Realized today that you can't easily email all participants for a given event.

NetCommunity doesn't recognize Participant Queries as a viable source . . . so, you either have to:

1. Convert all guests to constituents  OR

2. Export out your participant list from RE --> Import your list into NetCommunity --> Select that static list from your email or template.    And, you have to do that each time, because the data is static and not dynamic.

So I have posted this as an idea . . . and if this is something you would like to be able to do, please vote on it.

If there is a better way of accomplishing the goal, please let me know.

Thanks!

We use Event-o-matic to manage this (and other "cool" stuff) that RE does not have.

It's so worth the small cost because it saves us tons of time in event managment.  Not only can you email participants directly from your event, you can add "guests of" in "bulk", and you also can veiw your participants in different grid looks depending on what you want to know.  These are ONLY A FEW of the great things event-o-matic does. https://www.omaticsoftware.com/Events.aspx

That sounds like a pretty awesome software. We've had some issues with events in our system so I'll send this idea to those who might be able to evaluate it for us. Thanks!
