Can animated GIF images be placed in emails successfully? I pasted in the html codes and they show up on the "View as a Webpage" rendering, but not in the test emails.

    The short answer is: it depends on the recipient's email browser. Some allow for animated gifs (for example, web-based Gmail) but others don't (for example, older versions of Outlook).
