What mechanism do you provide donors who have created recurring gifts via Netcommunity to end those recurring gifts?


Something on the website?


Something on their original email?


Phone number on BBNC giving page and assumption that they'll call if there's a change to their gift plans?

    We use NetCommunity for our online giving, and within the donation form, we identify the giving options, and for recurring we do not give the option for an "end date". We state that the gift will have no end date, and if a donor chooses to end or cancel their gift, they must call in to our offices. this way, we can find out the WHY!


    this message is also repeated on the electronic acknowledgement email.

    Awesome.


    We DO allow for an end date to be added.  But for those that don't choose to add it at that time (which has been the case) I was looking for how folks let them know their options.

    We have a similar message that invites them to reach out to our Dpt., and then we can hopefully find out why they are ending the gift schedule.  We recently created an "exit letter" for monthly donors who end their giving - one more touchpoint on our programs, what we offer to our clients, and the tour invite :)
