Our team has been hard at work the past few months reimagining the volunteer event details page and related experience in AngelPoints utilizing our new Blackbaud SKYTM UX components and framework. We are very excited to bring these updates to you later this Spring! In the mean time we wanted to take a moment to remind you about a few important things to keep in mind as we continue to work on bringing you these user experience, technology, and hosting updates in AngelPoints.


In our latest update to your AngelPoints Staging Site (completed on January, 30, 2017), we were able to provide you with a preview of just some of the exciting new changes coming to the AngelPoints volunteer experience later this year, in May 2017. Releasing this update to your AngelPoints Staging Site provides you with unprecedented access to preview some of these exciting upcoming changes including:

We are thrilled to be bringing you and your users this redesigned experience on the volunteer events pages in AngelPoints with our new Blackbaud SKYTM UX. As we continue to work on a redesigned user experience and new features in AngelPoints we will be utilizing some of the latest technology and data hosting platforms.

Browser Compatibility:

As noted last year, in order to bring you the latest user experience and features within the AngelPoints solution, it is imperative that you and your users are accessing the system using compatible browser versions. Unfortunately older browser versions such as Internet Explorer 8 & 9 do not support the latest technology and security protocols. The following are important reminders:
  • We recommend that users accessing AngelPoints use the following supported browser versions:
    • Mozilla Firefox (v45 or greater)
    • Microsoft Internet Explorer (v10 or greater)
  • The redesigned volunteer dashboard (released in 2016) is not supported in older browser versions
  • The new, redesigned volunteer events pages are also not supported in older browser versions and users accessing AngelPoints with older browser versions (e.g. Internet Explorer 8 & 9) must update to a newer browser to access these pages going forward
