What do the Starbucks™ app and the AngelPoints Volunteering app have in common? You can finish up at a volunteer event, log your hours and order a latte for pickup all in less than 5 minutes! Are you asking yourself, what AngelPoints app? Well, no worries or need for alarm. We introduced the brand new AngelPoints Volunteering App just a few weeks ago!

The AngelPoints Volunteering is designed to make volunteering easier and more accessible to your employees. For your part, the setup is pretty straightforward. Add your logo, create a welcome message, add a little content and include any additional information you may want to share. When you are ready for your employees to access the app, communicate the organization ID (it can be found on your Manage – Setup – Mobile Configurations page in AngelPoints) and the Mobile Access Code. Then employees simply download the app directly from the App Store or Google Play.

The rest is up to your employees. They can use the app to sign up for events, log hours for completed events or IVAs. AngelPoints Volunteering is designed to be their mobile connection to AngelPoints and make their volunteer experience more seamless. The app also helps remove the issue of people forgetting to login and submit hours by giving them immediate access upon completion of the event.

The beauty of AngelPoints Volunteering is that it is set up to mirror the configurations you put in place when your organization implemented AngelPoints, so the necessary links and format will be there without you needing to do a thing.
I encourage you to download the app to your smart phone and start seeing what your end users will experience before you roll it out.
