A quick look at some stellar campaigns to start 2022 off right.

Betty White was a long-time supporter of The Seeing Eye, an organization that trains seeing-eye dogs. Her passion for this mission fueled a lifetime of awareness and giving. Then, that passion translated to honor Betty after she passed away.

Your passionate supporters and fundraisers can make a meaningful difference for your organization, just like Betty.

Today, we want to highlight some campaigns on JustGiving that have knocked it out of the park in these first two months. We are hopeful that these unique and passionate campaigns and pages help the creative juices start to flow when we think about all the creative ways to incorporate JustGiving into your fundraising strategy for 2022.

Cooks with Collars – Diocese of Allentown

This unique campaign features so much fun when you combine a virtual cooking competition, videos of each priest’s kitchen skills, and a fundraiser that you vote with your dollars! Parish priests and congregation members include a video of their recipe. These videos often come with a story and a laugh as well. Voting ends on February 28 with the winner announced on March 1, Fastnacht Day, an annual celebration the day before Ash Wednesday.

BellRunners 2022 - The Bell Center for Early Intervention Programs

This simple yet effective campaign pairs runners and walkers with supporters of The Bell Center for Early Intervention Programs. Their goal is to raise $100 per mile that they train for the Mercedes Marathon. The landing page shares a testimonial in the form of a blog post about a little girl named Ava who received services and had significant improvement, all thanks to their program. It also includes a simple, but effective photo of Ava.

UC GiveforGold 2022 - University of Charleston

The University of Charleston hosted an event on February 16th to raise money to expand their outdoor recreational offerings. This campaign was driven by students to help upgrade an empty lot to utilize space. It offered a rendering of the addition and details about what would be included. This campaign drew success from the call to action for students to invest in their college campus.

In Loving Memory of Betty White – The Seeing Eye

Betty White was a long-time supporter of The Seeing Eye, an organization that provides training for seeing-eye dogs for the blind and visually impaired.

The goal was to raise enough to be able to name a dog after Betty White, but with the outpouring of support, they increased the goal to help name the dog quarters in their new building.

The campaign highlights the support Betty provided the organization for over 40 years. They finished the page with “As they said on Golden Girls, thank you for being a friend.”
