Is there a minimum donation amount? I was able to make a $1 donation to Luminaria for the FY08 RFL Trinity event. However, when I tried to make a $1 donation to a the event (not via Luminaria form), I received an error message stating $1 was an invalid amount and was unable to proceed with the $1 donation. Why was I able to process $1 on the Luminaria, but not through donating directly to the event or participant?

    Hi Tracy,

    On the donation forms, we have a minimum donation amount of $5. This is farily standard for most of our clients, since their is a cost for processing credit card donations online.

    In luminaria, we do not have a minimum amount threshold as we do in donations, since it uses the e-commerce engine. However, I would not recommend having a luminaria priced at $1. I exchanged e-mails with Jack and Shannon about this last week and I know that they intend to follow up with you.
