New CSRconnect Tableau experience reimplementation complete 12/12/2024We are happy to announce that the Tableau reimplementation project is complete with no issues! Your Tableau site, users, and workbooks have been migrated to the new “CSRconnectPROD” Tableau site. We would like to inform you of a few things now that the implementation is complete:



Why did we making this change?

• Tableau Cloud migration: Our long-term goal is to migrate to Tableau Cloud, which offers improved scalability, reliability, and accessibility.
• Streamlined administration: By centralizing our Tableau environment, we can ensure more efficient operations.
• Faster reports: The new setup will optimize report loading times, providing you with quicker access to critical insights.

Key Dates and Additional Considerations:

• Reimplementation Complete: 12/10/2024
• Report changes cutoff: Any changes to reports in your previous site made after October 15, 2024 were not be migrated to the new site. You may submit a support case to copy over changes to CSRconnectPROD. Please include the name and location of the report in your request.
• Migration of reports:
  • Your Tableau site, users, and workbooks have been migrated to the new “CSRconnectPROD” Tableau site.
  • Reports associated with data sources YourCause no longer supports were not migrated. These reports have been disconnected and were not functional since the Azure migration in 2023.
• UI Change: You will now access your Tableau workbooks within the CSRconnectTableauProd selection.

Data Security Measures: We prioritize data security and have put in place robust permission sets and row-level security (RLS) to ensure your data is protected. Your information remains confidential and only authorized users will have access to relevant folders, reports, and dashboards.



What do you need to do?

• Retain your new access experience as detailed above in 'UI change'.
• Report issues through Admin Support in Case Central.

• We continued to update this resource here on YourCause CSRconnect Community.
• We shared verbal updates in our webinar series for CSRconnect (monthly) & Reporting (quarterly).
• Our CSMs were trained and can help to answer and research your Q&A. We shared emails through your YourCauseSuccessTeam@blackbaud.com email address to bring these details to your inbox.
• We will continue to highlight this resource and information in our Monthly Product Release Notes for CSRconnect during Q12025.
• We have created two videos for you to review with information and visuals of the new experience.
