On the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, millions of people around the world come together online and offline for one common purpose: to celebrate and encourage giving on a day that has become known as #GivingTuesday.  Anyone, anywhere can get involved. At everydayhero, we can't wait to help you make this your best #GivingTuesday yet.


So we’ve created totally terrific templates, tips and toolkits for you to take advantage of this year.  In fact, you get two awesome toolkits as you get your #GivingTuesday plan in place.  First, check out Blackbaud’s #GivingTuesday toolkit, webinar series and additional resources. Then, once you’re ready to build your everydayhero campaign, come back here and download the everydayhero #GivingTuesday toolkit, which is full of awesome tips and specific recruitment emails and social post to encourage your fundraisers to get out, create their own pages and share them on #GivingTuesday.

Below, we've provided instructions on how to build a campaign using your everydayhero Pro tool and special steps if you’re using one of our templates.


If you’ve never created a campaign using your everydayhero Pro tool or need a refresher, first, watch this short Campaign Creation tutorial. Then choose a template, (click the image, then right click to save the image to your desktop), copy and paste the content below for your landing page content and supporter page story... and you'll be on your way.

A few tips on using our #GivingTuesday templates:

• In step 3, landing page creation, select “USE BRANDED TEMPLATE”
• Update and use the below landing page copy in the Page Content section
• In step 4 use the one of the Supporter Page Banner and Landing Page Banner images we've provided. 
• Upload you’re your logo where it calls for “Campaign Logo” 
• Choose one of the following hex codes #808080, #ed1c3d (template 1,2 and 4), #33c0cc (template 5), #F2e468 (template 3) or your primary brand color
