New Portal: Applicant Logon Problems

I have 2 applicants who can't get logged onto the portal. One user is being “forced” to use a google account, which she doesn't want to do. The other logs on and gets sent to a generic Blackbaud profile page and never gets forwarded to our application landing page. Anybody else?

  • @Crystal Bruce Thank you - I already had. Things she said did lead me to solutions. It gets complicated because I'm not the person with the problem, but I'm the only one that can contact Blackbaud.

    For those implementing the new portal - one was a previous YourCause user. There were apparently some cookies set in the past that when he logged in this time, it sent him to a generic Blackbaud profile screen. Trying to go to our program link just kept him in that loop back to the profile screen. Clearing cookies is never something you want to tell an applicant, but that's what we had to do.
