Hi Everyone, I'm trying to gather some ideas about what you all do for in-office volunteer events. We have a hundred people coming together for a department-wide meeting and I'd like to include a hands-on volunteer activity as a part of it. Thank you for your insight!

    @Bridget Frodyma That's amazing! Love to hear about that planned turn out. In addition to WeHero, I would also suggest Goodera. They're a technology partner of ours, and if you choose to work with them you can use our Goodera API (at no additional fee on the YourCause side) to allow their team to coordinate the event directly through CSRconnect.

    As for some ideas that I have seen/heard really energize people:

    • nursing/first responder care kit making
    • bird house/bird feeder making for a local nature preserve
    • blanket making for a local nursing home
    • bike making for a local Boys & Girls Club or similar org
    • dog treat making for a local shelter
    • resume reviewing

    Just to name a few!
