  • @Crystal Bruce identifying duplicates is a struggle and requires constant monitoring

  • @Crystal Bruce A couple challenges but the first is there is no “data health review” option to ensure we're not ending up with duplicate records. The online giving forms have this function, there's no reason why the registration forms don't as well. We also have a hard and fast business rule that in order for someone to warrant having a constituent record, they must be a donor or a serious donor prospect. To prevent database inflation, like we've had in the past, we implemented this business rule. If we are doing a free event, and someone simply registers, why can't we keep that record on the attendees list without creating a full constituent record?

  • @Crystal Bruce the challenge of identifying duplicates. As we move to collecting less data to be more user friendly, it is hard to tie participants to constituent records (in event registration forms and even optimized donation forms). We wind up with many records for the same person but they used different emails, phone numbers, etc depending on how much info provided. We also have “guests” come to events that don't donate/spend money and are not likely to return - yet now they are a constituent in the database and not just a participant in the event.

  • @Crystal Bruce, can't do this. My events team uses a different platform for events. We are starting to get lists into events after the event, but we can't use it for registration at this point.

  • @Crystal Bruce It would be nice to have participants who are not made into constituents in the database.

  • @Crystal Bruce Duplicates.

Duplicates are always an issue for the participant registering, but also it would be great to be able to match their guests to existing constituents more easily.

We currently do not have a registration to an event open but this is going to be such a time savor in so many ways. Having everything all within RE is huge.

  • @Crystal Bruce duplicates and individuals who are really representing an organization. We are currently unable to transfer the $ to the org record.

  • @Crystal Bruce having real time confirmation emails sent to us once a customer has completed their registration is awesome. With multiple fee options available, customers are able to select which is best suited for them.

I would like to see a drop-down option available. For example, if selecting this fee, then having another option to select upon. We've had to create multiple links for different fees/sponsorships such as Gold, Silver, and Bronze because they have different options within. It would be nice to have those featured all in one form, sharing one link.

  • @Crystal Bruce Duplicates is a pain point. Also, the ability to search for guest.

  • @Crystal Bruce
The registrant notifications are straightforward and easy to track; it would be nice if they went through the online data review tool to cut down on creating duplicate records and have more control over how the record is created

    1. Registration at event. QR code entry would be amazing!!

    2. Participants. Its quite simple when its one person buying entry for themselves. When a company buys for guests is gets a little confusing

    3. Duplicate constituents seem to appear a lot.

    4. Allocated seating / room set up
