What's That? New Badge?!

Options

Hey All-Stars! In recruiting the amazing Elizabeth Johnson for my next Ask an All-Star (BlackbaudU - 42 classes!) - I came up with the idea to have an exclusive badge just for those All-Stars who participate in an Ask an All-Star session! Those who have done one will see the badge on their page.

Now, for the fun part! I've consulted my notes from our All-Star meetup and here's the outline I have.

Rachel was a hand raiser for an All-Star session on procedures & protocols.

Hallie raised her hand for using the tools and features of Raiser's Edge NXT

Carlene mentioned something about report builder and insight designer, but also recipes for building reports. My notes are a little wonky on that one! Carlene feel free to set me straight.

Brian, we had talked at the end of Q4 last year about a K-12 opportunity. Are you still interested?

Let's chat and start outlining these great All-Star sessions for 2025 for our community!

would you be so kind as to link a couple of the previous sessions so I can see how they have worked in the past?

I think this is what I was saying:

In the past I attended a customer success session, probably with the great Taylor Francis, that went through a series of “recipes” one could use to create various types of reporting. It was really helpful and I'd love a session that expands upon that.

So what I was thinking was that some folks could do a showcase of the various dashboards & insights they have created, preferably beyond the basics, so that we could think about what we could do at our respective orgs. Maybe a combo of All-Star and a BB expert could co-present?

My dream world would be a library of “recipes” of different custom insights that would be housed in Community that folks could then browse through and follow instructions to create at their own org.

Similar to how folks have shared their Power Automate Flows within the SKY API community. But since one can't import insights, we'd need documentation/outline of the various facts, attributes and measures used for the custom insight.

I also understand that this is a bit challenging to do a showcase due to data privacy, so that is why I'm suggesting partnering with a BB person so that it could be presented via a sample database.
