Entering Financial Institutions - Canada

Hello Everyone,

I'm transferring our monthly donors in house and I think I need to add their bank account information under financial institutions in config menu. I'm struggling to understand if I need to create new entries for each branch of a bank. I go to a constituent record and attempt to add a new bank/financial institution under the relationship tab and when I search and choose the financial institution, the institution ID field is grayed out and cannot be changed. Institution ID is a combination of the Bank number and the transit number which means it is unique for each branch. Am I correct to assume that I have to add each branch separately?
