PowerBI Reports: Who is using in BBCRM?

Who is using PowerBI reports in BBCRM? We are interested in talking to a couple of organizations about your experience. We are an on-premise site using Service Pack 36.

Wake Forest is using PowerBI with BBCRM. We are are hosted by BB and using the the DW with the Fabric framework to refresh our reports.

@Rochelle Salazar UNc-CH is also self hosted and we have been using PowerBI as our primary report server since about 2019 I think, so we have embedded some reports in CRM as well as others just being accessed directly within the report server.

The University of Houston is using Power BI with BBCRM. We are hosted with BB. We are using a PowerBI Gateway to connect to both Production and the Data Warehouse. He have a Power Automate Flow set up to refresh just after the Data Warehouse refreshes. We are on service pack 33.

We use Power BI reports in BBCRM and would be happy to share our experience. One key aspect we've focused on is time intelligence in Power BI, which helps us analyze donation trends, campaign performance over time, and donor engagement patterns. Features like YTD, QTD, MTD calculations, rolling averages, and custom fiscal calendars have been especially useful.

@Rochelle Salazar The Wilderness Society in Australia is using Power BI with CRM in a variety of ways - probably a bit differently as we don't use the BB Data Warehouse. I'm the only Power BI developer self-taught through the process of implementing Power BI here so its fair to say our/my approach has evolved over time but we've learned a lot. We use it for income reporting, appeal performance, tracking Regular Giving declines, Regular Giving and Cash Donor acquisition, etc. Happy to share ideas - my email is joel.brooks@wilderness.org.au
