Constituent Record Audit History

Options

Hello does anyone know of a way to view an audit history on a constituent record.. I am trying to see if some records in our database have been merged or had addresses added overtime. I know if they were merged I won't be able to easily reverse that, but I am hoping that maybe I can see a date that a merge happened and then I can try to piece out what information belongs with which record. Any help would be great!

if you are on RE NXT, there is a product call Audit Trail, which I believe have what you need.

If you/your org has folks that knows how to do some “low/no code” programming, you can also do this using SKY API webhook.

@Braden Morrill Here is a link to Audit Trail that @Alex Wong referenced. Zeidman Development is a trusted company. I don't have the tool and wish that I did! It not only allows you to see the changes they can also be reversed. Great bbcon 2024 presentation.

In the mean time, you also have properties that you can refer to if no changes have been made since.

  • @Braden Morrill Audit Trail from @David Zeidman's team won't help fix something that happened before implementing it, but it definitely could help with something like this if you already have implemented it. In RE itself, all you have are the properties and they are less than helpful for things like this. A backup of your data may also be helpful.

  • @Braden Morrill Thanks @Christine Robertson, @Elizabeth Johnson and @Alex Wong for the shoutouts. Please feel free to get in touch via our website if you have any questions or need any more information.
