Are users suppose to be able to see Interactions on Group and Household Constituents? I would think yes since it seems if you add an Interaction to any of the Members of a Group or Household one can see them on the Group our Household, and you have the option to add an Interaction on a Group or Household or just an Individual Member, but that seems to be only visible to our system admins, and they can't see how to make the Interactions 2nd Tier tab available to a user.

There is a query view that is specifically called for displaying interactions on group records from their associated individuals. I cannot make out from your screenshot, but can you make sure that the ‘Constituent Group Interaction2 Query’ query view is permissioned for end users. It would be, probably, the last section in the Interactions tab.

Let me know if that helps!

    Thanks,

  • @Aaron Thompson So users can't actually see the Interactions 2nd Tier tab on Group and Household Constituents? You have to run a query to see them?

  • @David Webb No, not exactly. The query view powers the list builder. In your first screenshot you could see 3 sections. The 1st was a datalist that CRM used to show. That was replaced by list builders in later service packs, which are the other two sections. One list builder is visible when you are looking at an Individual record. The other is for Group records. They have to be permissioned separately. List builders are powered by query views, so it is the query view itself that you grant to the appropriate user roles. Hope that helps clear it up!
