Is there a way to have a hidden column in the gradebook to count towards the average. Hidden meaning that it is hidden from students and parents.

    @Richard Pan Yes. When you create the assignment, make sure “Add to Gradebook" is checked. Then make sure “Add to cumulative” is checked. Under Publishing options, set it to “NO”. This means students and parents will not see the assignment or the assignment grade but it's included in the cumulative grade.
