NCH Health System in Naples, FL is currently seeking a PT Contract Gift Processor for approximately 15-30 hours/week. Remote applicants will be considered, but must have some availability during core business hours (8am - 5pm). For consideration, please email resume to philanthropy@nchmd.org.

JOB SUMMARY

The Development Gift Processor is responsible for ensuring that donations are processed and recorded accurately and in a timely manner. The processor will enter gifts and pledges into a database and assign them to the appropriate SPF account. Additionally, they will create gift receipts and acknowledgment letters. This position prepares bank deposits and is the primary staff accountable for processing credit card donations as well as processing online donations through the database. This team member will work with the System Coordinator on batch reconciliation and balancing gift information through internal monthly audit processes. The Gift Processor is also responsible for updating donor records and maintaining accurate donor demographic data within the database. This position requires great attention to detail to ensure data integrity of all gift-related information. The Gift Processor will work with the Operations Manager to ensure the appropriate campaigns, funds, or appeals are assigned for each gift are recorded appropriately. The Gift Processor should have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – Other duties may be assigned.

  • Records all gifts/donations accurately and efficiently including, but not limited to, planned gifts, letters of intent pledges and gift documentation, adjustments and cash entries, as well as adding, correcting, and merging constituent records.
  • Creates and updates existing donor records
  • Reviews and reconciles online giving
  • Processes acknowledgement letters in a timely manner
  • Assists in providing mailing lists, labels, letters, nametags, etc. for specific and ongoing projects as requested
  • Assist with quality assurance of gift entry by performing daily audits and identifying potential gift issues.
  • Monitor activity in the brokerage and bank accounts.
  • Executes duplicate management process and runs regular reports to maintain data hygiene
  • Ensures that event income is correct, as well as communicates with staff when outstanding proposals are fulfilled.
  • Works with staff to provide direct support to donors who have gift inquiries, receipts questions, or other tax related document questions.
  • Add, update, and correct address information in constituent records using information obtained from a variety of sources including online resources, returned mail, National Change of Address (NCOA), donors, and staff.
  • Prepares and generates monthly and quarterly gift reports
  • Assists in review of pledge aging reports and preparation of pledge payment reminders
  • Reviews pledge and/or gift adjustments
  • Assists in setting up new funds
  • Processes stock/mutual fund and planned gifts
  • Codes, processes, and adjusts all types of gifts
  • Assists with annual audit
  • Assists with calendar year-end tax receipts
  • Monitor day-to-day integrity of database and database procedures by supporting daily, weekly, and monthly audits of data to confirm use of accurate data entry processes.
  • Recommends new approaches, procedures and processes to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
  • Exercises discretion on highly confidential and sensitive information.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of an associate degree with 1 year experience in Development, Non- Profit, Business Operations or related field required.

OR

  • Minimum of High School/GED with 2 years in Development, Non-Profit, Business Operations or related field required.
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
  • A demonstrated ability to produce error free work when performing a variety of functions such as typing, text editing, data entry, file management, and calculations is required.
  • Takes initiative and is self-motivated; completes tasks in a timely manner.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
  • Ability to communicate directly and effectively with others.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel.
  • Prior Raiser’s Edge experience strongly preferred.
