Part-time Database and Learning Management System (LMS) Specialist

The part-time Database and LMS Specialist will support scheduling and registration processes, working jointly with the scheduler and registrar from February through June 2025. The ideal candidate will help streamline course setup and student registration in a timely, efficient manner (February). This role will work closely with the school scheduler to link courses to teachers and rooms where possible (February/March), develop the framework for the cross-divisional rotational schedule (March/April), and finally, build and troubleshoot the schedules for the Lower, Middle, and Upper divisions (April-June).

This is a non-exempt, part time, temporary, hourly role that will require 20 hours of work per week at $60.00 per hour. This position does not include benefits.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):

Scheduler support:

  • Provide critical course configuration, review and registration support
  • Test and refine course setup and rosters
  • Help build out, test and refine divisional and whole school schedules

Registrar support:

  • Attend to transcript requests and enrollment verification
  • Provide internal support to the LMS to ensure proper course/grading setup
  • Provide technical support for all grading and transcript cycles, including report, editing, troubleshooting and publishing

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience using Blackbaud, or other school learning management or scheduling software
  • A detail-oriented and meticulous approach to data entry, management, and integrity
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness in identifying and solving problems independently
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with ability to understand complex data structures and systems logic
  • Ability to work independently, stay on top of deadlines, and collaborate effectively to ensure successful project completion
