The Roswell Park Alliance Foundation, the not-for-profit organization that support Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, is seeking a well-rounded individual and seasoned professional for the role of Assistant Director of Digital Operations to be a key contributor to our full staff in overseeing all of our digital and online fundraising platforms, including strategy, research, procurement and adoption.

This role is also in charge of managing the digital team to launch 10 websites a year with updated content and execute the delivery of hundreds of emails and text messages, over the course of the year, to our thousands of constituents. The digital team is also responsible for scheduling, reporting, analyzing and evaluating best practices to keep our websites to the highest quality for our donors and participants. Additional digital tools and platforms under this role include CRM, mobile fundraising apps, donor analytic tools, financial software, integration tools, ticketing websites and event check-in software. This position also needs to have a thorough appreciation for the role of data in all aspects of data collection, coding and tracking, and integration into our CRM to make sure that we are communicating to the right constituents at the right time.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Alliance Foundation technology lead on strategy, research, procurement and adoption for all internal teams various digital and technology needs specific to the Foundation.
  • In charge of the yearly creation, updates, design, development and execution of:
  • Over 10 unique branded websites
  • 10 P2P event registration forms / fundraising platforms
  • Approximately 16 online donation forms
  • Multiple event registration and survey forms
  • Supervise the design and sending of 300-400 emails per year to constituents for event registration and coaching, direct appeals, and stewardship using best practices, segmentation, responsiveness, and employing strict quality control processes.
  • Research and secure innovative technology vendors to meet our fundraising goals, including negotiating contracts and terms.
  • Work side-by-side with the marketing and fundraising teams to make sure their goals and objectives are met with the online resources and technology platforms that we employ.
  • Responsible for all websites and fundraising registration and donation forms are to the best of our ability and quality checked before going live.
  • Manage team responsible for documenting and compiling data from emails sent and prepare reports for email owners to track effectiveness of communications; update project management software with task deadlines and due dates; and reporting on website analytics using Matamo.
  • Admin/supervisor of our fundraising CRM (Raiser’s Edge) and online platform (Blackbaud’s Luminate Online), plus other digital platforms.
  • Liaison with all technology vendors.
  • Work with Roswell Park legal and information security teams to secure contracts as needed for any vendor touching/accessing HIPAA data.
  • Responsible for fiscal year budgets and invoicing related to technology needs.
  • Work some Alliance Foundation events focusing on leading the effort to check-in participants with integrated event software.
  • Oversee the process and staff to enter and acknowledge all gift types, accurately and on-time for correct financial reporting and donor stewardship.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • 7-10 years’ relevant work experience, such as digital, web and fundraising
  • Manager experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Excel.
  • HTML/WordPress experience a plus.
  • Leader and team oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects with multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and highly personable to work with multiple teams.
  • References will be required.

  • Blackbaud software experience

SALAY & BENEFITS:

  • Salary $90,000 - $110,000
