Position Description

The Database Coordinator is responsible for daily data entry and maintaining AHS’s database of constituents, and provides essential administrative support to the Development Department and monthly reports to the Finance team. This position is critical to the operations of the development team in helping to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward donors, volunteers and other constituents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily gift processing & entry (direct mail, Luminate Online credit card transactions, Mobile Pay transactions, counter batches and in-kind gifts) ensuring all proper documentation is recorded and prepare daily deposits for finance.
  • Generate and mail gift acknowledgement letters.
  • Oversee all third party giving sites and associated ACH transaction entries.
  • Serve as main point of contact for all gift processing updates, questions and issues, providing exemplary customer service.
  • Create and maintain excellent records in Raiser’s Edge including new constituent entries, updates to key biographical information, contact information, giving history and interactions.
  • Create and execute exports of donor lists to aid in stewardship and solicitation.
  • Maintain data integrating and preform scheduled data maintenance.
  • Assist in staff database trainings in conjunction with a third-party.
  • Provide support to Education & Events staff in event registrations, ticket processing & tracking, raffles, on-site event assistance, and post event data entry and follow-up.

As with any highly integrated organization, other duties may be required to support the overall mission and strategic objectives of the agency. Other specific duties may not be expressly stated in this job description, however, duties may fall under one’s responsibility if assigned in order to maintain the operations of the organization and reach fundraising objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years CRM database experience, with Raiser’s Edge and Luminate knowledge highly preferred. Must be able to create and execute queries, imports and exports within Raiser’s Edge. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail. A demonstrated ability to be self-motivated, adaptable, and able to manage multiple ongoing tasks. Commitment to work as part of team and a personal dedication to our mission. Must be able to be on-site for a least 3 times a week in order to make deposits and generate acknowledgement letters in a timely manner.

Salary: $50,000
