  • @Crystal Bruce I'm excited to see more and more functionality come to the webview!

  • @Crystal Bruce Hello, could I please be sent and/or pointed in the direction of the on-demand recording? I missed this and want to see it, but can't find it anywhere. Thank you!

  • @Patrick Tarbox hello, you'll need to register in order to get the recording. The link is above in the original post. Thanks!

  • @Crystal Bruce
I am so excited about the migration of Reports to webview. I am eagerly awaiting the day when I can scheduled my pledge reports and take that off my task list…

  • @Crystal Bruce I am eagerly anticipating the continued functionality in Webview. I am excited for the day that the database side and the webview can be used interchangeably!

  • @Crystal Bruce I apologize, I have attempted to register multiple times and never received anything. If it is going to wait until the series of product updates is over, that is fine, I would like to know that so I don't bang my head against the proverbial wall anymore!

  • @Crystal Bruce
As an institution rooted in the Jewish tradition (but serving everyone), I was very excited when the ability to edit religion data was rolled out into webview. It makes my life much easier! I'm looking forward to queries being available in webview in the future

  • @Patrick Tarbox
I too registered and did not receive the links as of yet, did you ever receive them?

  • @Patrick Tarbox
I saw where it said they will go to our inbox 24 hours after we have registered

  • @Crystal Bruce I'm excited about Copilot, the Power Platform standard reports connector, and the ability to delete view-only lists! I also appreciated the explanation of Security and Defense in Depth.

there are too many to look forward to, I think the customer of BB has not been this excited with feature rich update in upcoming months.

Most excited about: Gift feature and gift batching overhaul. MORE importantly to me is the same capability and features being available in SKY API, THIS WILL be a game changer.

I was excited to hear about how query is planned to be compatible with existing web view tools sooner rather than later. That's been the biggest obstacle to web view tools being useful to us. I'm also looking forward to hearing more about the Constant Contact partnership. We use OLX email, and it has a lot of pain points, but the current NXT email software would limit our marketing reach so much compared to OLX that it's worth it. If there's a replacement coming that is easier to make emails in than OLX, and gives us the freedom to make the email lists we need via query like OLX does, we would jump on that.

I was really hoping to hear more about the new web view search tools that were mentioned in April. The single biggest pain point in Web View for my org is Web View Search. It is a daily frustration that keeps us from finding records in Web View using the search tool, and leads to a lot of problems for all our departments that use web view, and for me as the DBA. Easily the biggest hurdle to adoption/regular usage of web view by our fundraising staff. A search tool that lets you search by multiple fields using wildcards is by far my most wished for update. I was told in a Q&A at one of the recent webinars that it would be part of the new UI update, but that wasn't confirmed.

I think that what I am most excited for is for query to come to web view. Query is a beast that is really intimidating to me, especially with the way it looks in database view. I am new to the query process, so I am excited that I am going to start to be able to do more with query in the web version which seems more approachable to me. That being said, I'm also excited for reports to be web view too, because the process of creating a report is similar to queries (at least to my knowledge).

  • @Devan Caton Blackbaud University has been releasing free bite size videos for Raiser's Edge NXT around new feature releases, which you can access in BlackbaudU campus here. Your team might find these helpful! They are free for all customers.

  • @Crystal Bruce
I'm most excited about query in web view.

  • @Crystal Bruce I think Co-Pilot is going to be extremely beneficial, especially in small shops like ours who don't have a dedicated researcher or prospect manager.

  • @Crystal Bruce Queries! I use them a lot and lists just don't have the functionality that I need with many of the things I do.

  • @Crystal Bruce
Query in web view, the usability of database view is many years outdated and anything contributes to its replacement is a good move.

  • @Christine Newman Unfortunately, there isn't yet one about the changes coming to the navigation.

  • @Christopher Horn I'm right there with you about the limitations of searching in web view. Our org serves the presbyterian denomination, so we have thousands upon thousands of churches that are our constituents. Finding a specific “First Presbyterian Church” in the web view was impossible. We ended up having to add an alias to every church in RE that includes their city/state just to make it manageable. It's definitely not a fool proof system though. Would love to see improvements.

  • @Devan Caton I checked with the Blackbaud University team and they anticipate having a video on the navigation changes in the January/February timeframe, so stay tuned!

  • @Crystal Bruce Most excited about Query! YAY!!!

  • Yay!!! Thank you, @Christine Newman!!

  • @Crystal Bruce - I am looking forward to Query and Gift Batching!

  • @Crystal Bruce I don't have a specific feature, but I was excited to see more features in the Canada stream showing up. Particularly Prospect Insights, even though it will be different than what the US folks get.

  • @Crystal Bruce I am most excited for query, reports and being able to batch in NXT.

  • @Crystal Bruce The Product briefings are super helpful. I'm most excited about query in web view (Lists is so limited) and the option to pay later when registering for an event. We hold a multi-day conference and I'm hoping we can use RE NXT events for that. It's essential to have that option to make a partial payment or none at the time of registration. I also like the new navigation panel.
