Grand Canyon Conservancy is seeking an independent contractor to support our digital fundraising efforts through Luminate Online. We are looking for someone with pre-existing expertise in Luminate Online who can implement email campaigns and updates to online donation forms. We anticipate 20-40 hours of work per month for the months of November and December and a pay rate of $45-55/hr depending on skill and experience.

  1. Scope of Work. The Company hereby engages Contractor to provide the following services:
  2. Donor-Facing Email Communications:
    • Provide support for GCC’s donor-facing email communications within Luminate Online and Raiser’s Edge NXT as needed, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational standards.
    • Coordinate with the internal team to implement digital fundraising email campaigns, adhering to project timelines and deadlines.
  3. Digital Fundraising Implementation:
    • Collaborate with internal and consulted teams to implement all digital fundraising activities within Luminate Online and Raiser’s Edge/NXT as needed.
    • Ensure that digital fundraising projects are launched successfully, following GCC’s quality standards, processes, and deadlines.
  4. Donation Forms and Online Infrastructure:
    • Build and maintain online donation forms and related infrastructure for fundraising campaigns within Luminate Online and Raiser’s Edge/NXT as needed.
    • Ensure that all digital assets meet best practices and quality standards.
  5. Data Management and Reporting:
    • Perform data pulls and segmentation of constituent and donation lists within Luminate Online and Raiser’s Edge/NXT as needed.
    • Build queries, utilize exports, and maintain a high level of accuracy when managing data within Luminate Online and Raiser’s Edge/NXT.
  6. Workflow and Database Support:
    • Assist with workflows related to appeal emails, action imports, and digital fundraising initiatives within Luminate Online and Raiser’s Edge/NXT.
    • Update constituent records and transaction records as needed to ensure database accuracy and integrity.
  7. Customer Service:
    • Provide excellent customer service to both internal stakeholders, consulted teams, and external donors, ensuring all communications are timely, clear, and aligned with GCC’s standards.

  1. Timeline of Work: The Company anticipates the Contractor will spend approximately 20-40 hours per month for the months of November and December 2024 on the tasks outlined above. If the contractor requires more than 40 hours per month for any of the required deliverables, it is the Contractor’s responsibility to notify the Company of the additional time needed before pursuing additional hours of work. Any hours that are needed to complete the above scope of work should be agreed upon between the Contractor and the Company before that work is completed. Should the scope of work extend beyond December 2024, the Company and Contractor will establish a new contract for the extended time frame.
