Fund Relationships?

@Christine Robertson So maybe not a cleanup question per se, but any tips for:

1. Adding fund relationships that doesn't make the manual task seem so painful? ?
   
2. We are about to go into a scholarship campaign and expect to get a number of one-year named scholarships. The last time we did this, all the scholarship contacts and recipients were added to a single fund record (One-Year Named Scholarship) and the specific name of the scholarship was listed in the Fund Relationship notes. This was a pain when we wanted to report on who received what scholarship, etc. Any suggestions for making the process easier without creating a bunch of additional funds or is that really our best option?

@Dan Snyder Great questions!
1. There's no way to update Fund Relationships in the native RE in bulk (and I don't think that those are possible in webview either…), but you can work with them in Importacular (and I think Omatic as well). They aren't free in either tool, but depending on your volume, it might be worth it.
2. There are so few fields on the Fund Relationships that you're really between a rock and a hard place on this. I would probably opt to do what you did the last time though - adding excess Funds just for this feels like a lot of work and data that you'll just end up cleaning up later.

Thanks Christine, I need to see how many I have and might try the Importacular route to get caught up.

@Dan Snyder I really hope that all areas of RE are available in the RE NXT import option.

@Dan Snyder it is possible to import fund relationship records connected to constituents into RE using Importacular. There is a slight extra cost to this but hopefully the cost would outweigh all the work that you would need to put in to do it manually or do a workaround.
