Opening multiple windows within Blackbaud

With Blackbaud being multifunctional, is there any way for us to open up an additional window instead of having to go out of a function to go into another function?

    @Cristal Hannah If you right click on the links, you can choose to open in a new window. Is that what you're looking for?

    @Cristal Hannah also If you right click on browser web tab you can select ‘duplicate’ and will get second open instance of RE NXT.

    @Christine Robertson Thank you so much! I am new to Blackbaud and I had to basically teach myself. I have asked others that use it and I don't think many people know that you can do that. At least the people I asked didn't know. This has made my day!

    @JoAnn Strommen Hi. Thank you so much! Again, there are many that don't know this but I will share it with them. I'm fairly new to Blackbaud and that was the most aggravating thing for me is to not be able to open up another window! You should see the smile on my face! Lol

    @Cristal Hannah ? I usually open more than one instance of db view as well so I can keep working while a large, detailed query, report or export is generating.

    I would love to know what magic you use to open another dbv window when query is running. I asked support years ago and they said it was working as intended because looking up anyone while a query is running could cause your query to freeze or provide invalid results (bc potentially 1 constituent in that query of 50,000 might be the one whose record you're opening in another window ??‍♀️). So I really haven't tried it since!!

    @Spring Velazquez After first instance of db view is open, I just click the coin stack in web view again and select ‘open database view.' I do it every day and have for years.

    When closing db view, the first window you close will only have the “exit” option. The last will have the standard “exit and sign out.”
