Cleveland Animal Protective League is looking for a seasoned, energetic fundraising professional with experience with annual fund fundraising and database management to join mission-driven, donor-centric team!

Salary: $53,000-$60,00 yearly


The Annual Fund and Database Manager is responsible for annual fund development, including database management, donor stewardship, donor recognition, and oversight of the direct mail program. Participates in Capital Campaign donor identification and tracking. Supervises Gift Processing staff.

The Cleveland APL’s mission is to foster compassion and end animal suffering. As a 501(c)(3) agency, we are not funded or controlled by any government or national animal welfare organization. Our animal shelter, services, and programs are made available through fundraising, donations, foundation and corporate support, and service fees.

We are committed to 100 percent placement of adoptable animals and envision a time when every friendly, healthy, homeless animal in our community can be cared for until a new family is found. The Cleveland APL provides shelter to homeless animals relinquished by their guardians, animals that are rescued from abuse or neglect, and stray or abandoned cats.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management or related field such as communications, public relations, marketing, or business.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven successful experience in the area of annual fund fundraising and database management (RE).
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.
