Summary: Under the supervision of the Director, American College of Surgeons Foundation, the Coordinator will support the development strategies of the American College of Surgeons Foundation. Responsibilities include database management (RE NXT), development operations, donor services, prospect research, support for the Foundation’s Board of Directors, event support, and administrative support (e.g., calendar management, meeting planning and scheduling, coordination of team meetings, etc.) for the Foundation Director.

This exempt position will report to the Director, American College of Surgeons Foundation in the Division of Foundation. This position is based in our Chicago office and is a hybrid role: 3 days per week in the office/2 days per week remote.

Required Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred, but not required.

At least 2+ years of administrative experience in non-profit setting is strongly preferred.

Raiser’s Edge (NXT) Experience and knowledge including - data entry, report generation of standard and customized reports, pledge tracking, Importomatic and reminders letters is required.

Experience with calendar management and scheduling is required.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Database management skills required.
