Compensation & Benefits: $52,000 - $60,000, eligible for full-time benefits

Summary

The Annual Fund Manager is accountable to the execution of a portfolio of revenue through a defined annual fundraising plan. This Manager collaborates with the Vice President of Development to build annual operations fundraising strategy and then executes fundraising through annual appeals, monthly giving, special appeals, events, activities, and sponsorship requests. Highly relational and data driven, this position will establish and report key performance metrics supporting team-wide achievement of annual fundraising goals, achievable through strong relationship management.

Responsibilities & Essential Duties

  • Execution of a portfolio of revenue through a defined annual fundraising plan.
  • In collaboration with the VP of Development, develops the annual operations fundraising plan, calendar, timelines, strategy and goals.
  • Establishes and reports on key performance metrics, serving as a leader for the Development Team on accountability for annual fund goals.
  • Develops stewardship plans, donor personas (first time donor, first time volunteer, monthly donor, sponsor, etc.), and timelines for all annual fund donation experiences.
  • Responsible for all levels of annual fund multichannel appeals, in close coordination with the Communications Team and Development Coordinator.
  • Assumes functional accountability for annual donor gratitude plans, including coordination of Development Volunteers, Development colleagues, and the Board of Directors for this purpose.
  • Engages with donors, leading tours of our programs, networking at community events, and Action House hosted events.
  • Leads on cultivation, retention, upgrades, and new donor acquisition efforts for prospects & donors.
  • Leads fundraising projects, monthly giving performance, appeals, overall sponsorship planning, special days of giving, and other elements that support the annual fund.
  • Responsible for management of donor Constituent Relationship Management system and ensures quality data hygiene for successful relationship management and fundraising.
  • Manages special projects in development, such as the database conversion project that is currently underway.
  • Collaborates with supervisor, direct reports, and other teams to ensure flow of information and success of key project outcomes
  • Leads, manages, develops, and retains Development Coordinator and Development Intern(s) by charting an annual course of direction and monitoring quarterly progress toward annual goals. This includes leading various meetings.
