Position Announcement: Director of Development and Marketing

Cranaleith Spiritual Center seeks a mission-driven, creative, strategic thinker to develop and manage a broad range of development and marketing activities. The ideal candidate will be an individual who understands the transformative power of spiritual practices, who is able to inspire donors, engage our community, and can creatively shape Cranaleith’s compelling narrative. This person will thrive on building connections and relationships with our humanitarian partners and is excited to participate with an organization that seeks to meet the spiritual needs of poor, vulnerable or marginalized populations.

For 25 years, Cranaleith Spiritual Center has served over 55,000 visitors. Known as a sanctuary of trees, Cranaleith is a nonprofit retreat and conference center supporting those who wish to reflect on what matters deeply in their lives, renew their spirit for life and work, or restore themselves from life’s traumas. Individuals and groups are invited to participate in retreats and programs in Cranaleith’s spirit-rekindling environment of well-being, respect, and harmony. Cranaleith is a sponsored ministry of the Sisters of Mercy.

Key areas of focus include:
• Create and oversee annual fund campaigns, major donor campaigns, planned giving, donor cultivation processes and fundraising activities.
• Develop and implement comprehensive and dynamic communications and external marketing and communication initiatives based on a unified brand and multimedia advertising plan.

Qualifications
Preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications or related field
• Donor database management skills
• Experience with nonprofit organizations
• Strong technical skills in Constant Contact, E-Tapestry, Canva
• Excellent oral and written communications skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50- $60k per year
Benefits: Dental, health, and vision insurance; Vacation/PTO time; Retirement plan

Applicants must be able to commute daily to Philadelphia, PA office.
