Auto acknowledgement status

Options

When you enter a donation into a batch from a specific constituent. Is it possible that their donation automatically lists at "do not acknowledge"?

    @Jessica Thomas It sounds like you want that to happen for a specific constituent every time you enter them in a batch, which is not possible. You can set it up as a default for the batch itself, but not for a constituent.

    You could set up a Business Rule in configuration to alert you in batch. The criteria for the query would be the specific record of the constituent. The knowledgebase article I linked to has a lot of detail on how they work and how to set up, in case you are not familiar with them.

    @Jessica Thomas
    I believe you can use Annotation for this

    @Jessica Thomas - You can use Power Automate to locate recent gifts added to the specific constituent record and mark the gift as “Do Not Acknowledge” on a recurring basis.

    Unfortunately, we are not looking for a third-party solution or something that will incur an additional cost. I have added an annotation instead. Thank you though :)!

    @Jessica Thomas - No worries, just wanted to make sure you were aware of it as a possible solution.
