Online express

Options

I have 160 unprocessed download transactions in Online Express. Each one of these transactions have already been recorded in Raiser's Edge by batch entry. These go back to 2019 - 2021 so I'm afraid to just delete them and RE delete the actual transaction and I would not be able to add it back. How can I delete these 160 transactions?

    @Donna Vanhorn If I'm following these donations came in thru OLX, were processed with entry into RE but the donation info did not clear from the OLX gift windows. ??

    We have had this happen with NetC gifts and event reg from time to time. Unsure, we left the gift record in NetC window for a day to make sure it was entered in RE the next day. They all were. We deleted the transaction data from NetC with no issue.

    As long as the gifts are in RE you should be fine. Spot check a couple and if you're still worried you could do some screen shots of the gift data in OLX for your own peace of mind.

    Deleting transaction from Online Express is not going to affect gifts that has been committed into RE already.

    what is confusing on what you said is "unprocessed … tranaction in Online Express… each… have been already recorded in RE”. My assumption is not error, rather, it seems these transactions were manually entried into RE already not processed through Online Express. But regardless, if you are sure the transactions' gift record is in RE already, delete the transaction from Online Express.

    just a note, two other staff members and I have experienced processing gifts and registrations from NetC (similar process as OLX) into a batch or individually and the data still remained as unprocessed in NetC. We did not manually enter the data into RE. It was processed thru normal NetC processign but apparently there is a glitch from time to time in clearing the processed data. Has happened 1-2 times a year, sometimes it was a single gift sometimes up to 3 that were being processed.

    Thanks for the help JoAnn! I got brave and deleted one - after taking screenshots as you suggested - and I was able to delete the One Line transaction! Now all are gone except for one current transaction. This is great! I like this much better.

    Thanks for replying. Yes, I was entering the transactions in a batch instead on processing them through Online Express. I have successfully deleted all of my old online transactions now that were in On Line Express and all donations are still in RE. Thanks for your help?

    One thing to note here for future readers having a similar and yet different issue is to always use caution when deleting initial recurring gifts made through OLX and if you do delete a gift accidentally support can help you get it back. We always do an export of our transactions before dealing with them and save them to a unique and secure location for future reference.
