Apple Pay showing with gift type of "Other"?

Is there a way to add a gift type? We have donors using Apple Pay and it is coming through as the gift type of “Other.” We would like to create a type for these wallets - or if we can't add one, can we direct the wallet payments to the gift type of credit card? Thanks!

@Cathy Spencer Do you mean Gift Type or Payment Method? Apple Pay is more appropriate as a payment method, so I suspect that is it.

Unfortunately, those table entries are not editable. You may consider gift subtype or applying a gift attribute for those gifts. Hoping someone who is using it has a better option, because that is frustrating!

We have this little DB query to find Apple gifts - and we then set them to PayMeth>Credit Card -CCType>Apple Pay

@Ashley Gelderblom - this is a great workaround. I also just added Wallet Type to my output in BBMS - it was the last column option. So far we have not had any Google Wallet transactions.
