What has your experience using Fundraiser Performance Management been like?

We are still (struggling) in the implementation phase with FPM, and it has taken a really long time (more than 1.5+ years) to get things up and running. What were some of your implementation challenges and how did you resolve them? Are you currently using FPM successfully, and how has it most benefitted your team?

We found that certain areas of our data feed into Blackbaud FPM were challenging, especially proposals (we do not have our users enter data into Bbd). Our FPM is tied to Banner Advancement. If that is your main product, Kellie, we can share some specifics.

Thanks, Amy. Our FPM is tied to RE and we are also having data feed challenges. We (mostly) resolved the issues with queue so RE flows to FPM but data entered into FPM is not feeding to RE. Our other challenge was getting our tables in FPM set up correctly. We keep having to revisit this. We are going live later this month so I am nervous about how the tool will be received by gift officers.

You are welcome. In our case, there are some differences between how our data presents in our system of record (Banner) and displays in FPM. This has to do with various limitations and does sometimes confuse our development officers. However, the system has had some wins for us, mostly that of the ease of the Relationship Profile and its information in one place as well as the ability to do the self-service reporting in Targeter (even with its limitations). I do not know RE at all and what you can see there, but if you want to have a brief call where I can show you the parts of the system that our gift officers find useful, I'm happy to do so.

Greetings. Yesterday I received a message from Blackbaud that this community space will be closing sometime soon. You (and anyone) are welcome to email me to continue the conversation, my email address is amy.shaiman at miamioh.edu
