New expanded publish instructions

Hello optimized form EAP'ers!

Yesterday, we released the optimized form to an additional 100 customers in our first limited availability wave. Since we last met, there have been a number of enhancements that I wanted to make sure you were aware of.

1. The donor contact name and email now populates to the BBMS report. Some of you may recall that previously, the BBMS report only showed the cardholder name and email which isn't collected on the optimized form. We're now passing in the first name, last name and email address that the donor provides on the form so that you have more information when you're troubleshooting a transaction for reconciliation.

2. We now support the ability to launch an optimized form over your website via a hyperlink without requiring the donor to select a button or element. During the EAP, the form could only be launched via a button, image or other html element over your website page.

Based on your feedback, we've also released new instructions on the “Publish” tab of your optimized form outlining the different ways you can launch your form by hyperlink and button from your website, or by the Blackbaud hosted URL. Accompanying these instructions is a new tutorial in our documentation on publishing your forms.

3. We also now support passing in designations or appeals via URL for Blackbaud-hosted forms. This allows you to craft the link to your optimized form in a way to pass in a designation or appeal, which will override the default designation and/or appeal you've set on your form. This is available for the Hosted URL forms today, with hyperlink and button approaches currently in development. See tutorial for more information.

4. We now provide tools in the branding card setup to crop your hero image, and set a background color and padding on your logo.

We are currently in active development for direct debit/ACH and Paypal/Venmo payment methods, and the ability to collect comments from your donors. These are all expected to release in early Q1. We have much more coming after that, including tributes, select from multiple funds, and more which has been prioritized largely because of your valuable feedback!

We will be closing down this EAP community in the new year. New feature updates will be communicated in the regular What's New cadence in RENXT and in the RENXT community announcements. Please feel free to use the regular RENXT Community for any continued optimized form questions or conversations.

And once again, I can't thank you enough for being part of our early adopter program for this new form. We wouldn't be releasing out to other customers without your participation, candid feedback and willingness to try out our form and tell us what you think.
