Gift Committed in Batch but not posted to Constituent's Record

Options

We have committed a batch with multiple gifts, but one of the gifts is not posting to the constituent's record while the others are. The validation report did not show any exceptions and everything looks like it was entered correctly. Has anyone had this happen before and how did you handle it?

  • @Carrie Phipps To add to my question, is it possible that if someone else was in the constituent's record at the time the batch was committed that this would prevent the gift from being added to their record?

    @Carrie Phipps Someone having the record open has not caused that in my experience. I've even had records open and gift is there when I close and re-open the record.

    I have had a gift missing. What was the cause was a missing required field on the matching gift associated with the record. I thought the batch validated fine but looking back I think I missed the exception statement.

    Just another thing I've seen is that gift went on different John Smith record than the one being looked at which was not opened from the batch.

    I had to contact RE Support. They had me reset my Citrix profile. It is a known issue. I suggest contacting support as well. ?
