Organizational Constituents — How do you handle them?

We're just curious. We have both individual and organizational records in our Luminate Online 360 database. We're fairly new to Luminate Online and Raiser's Edge (one year in) and have run into some snags with org donors (biggest being they don't process through the RELO sync). How does your organization handle them? Do you create organizational records or do you use individual records and just put the org name into the first or last name fields?

We recreate the wheel, unfortunately. Orgs get used for local companies in TeamRaiser, but don't correspond all that well with anything in RE.
