Spouse addresses in RE

Is there a better way to update spouse records in RE? Currently, we update the address for Spouse 1, go into the spouse record from the link on Bio 1 and update the address, then go into Spouse 2's record and update the address, and then again into the spouse record from link on Bio 1 to update Spouse 1's address there. We are concerned that somehow the addresses (from the link on Bio 1) will make it to a mailing list incorrectly. Are we doing too much? Is the extra step of going into the Spouse link on Bio 1 necessary?

@Cheryl Stadtler I think it might be better to use the address sharing options, and once you change the original then share it to the spouse.
