Event Registration Form vs Event Registration Form (classic)

I'm trying to get a better understanding of the difference between the two registration form versions. I found a KB 62795 that has a comparison table. I feel like it was recommended to us that we should use the classic version which we have been doing. However, we've had staff changes and for the life of me I can't remember why we received that recommendation.

I've been asked to update the caption language for the additional donation which I see is not something I can do on the classic form. Before I recommend to my colleague to start using the regular form I want to see what to expect with that change.

    Miranda here from Blackbaud NetCommunity support. Thanks for posting and mentioning that Knowledgebase solution. I just revisited it to ensure that it has the latest information.

    The classic form was suggested most likely for one of the features listed there. But you are correct that if you want to edit field labels/captions, then the Event Registration Form (not classic) part will the way to go with its available Language tab.
