Setting up & Running Welcome Series

We have RE NXT/db, Importomatic and LO. Looking for documentation, best practice, procedures you may have about setting up and running Welcome Series. How do the components (campaign, query, groups) tie together. Do queries run automatically and create updated groups before an email message is sent. Timing between 3 emails? and are they scheduled to run every day? How do you suppress new Luminate donors who are NOT new donors to your org. We do not synch gift data between RE and LO. As you can see, so many questions. Thank you!

    I have read the documentation on creating a welcome series in Luminate and the approach is not ideal. We have implemented it. You have to create separate population groups per email and setup independent emails that run on their own schedule. When is Blackbaud going to develop an email series functionality in luminate. 1st Email → pause 7 days → 2nd Email →pause 7 days → 3rd email. It would use 1 population and the person would get all the emails in the series and you could branch off and do different emails based on data points on the constituent record or giving level.
