URL shortcuts - need http://

Options

Is there a way to bypass the need for http:// with the Luminate Online URL shortcuts.

It seems to me that you can put in the shortcut in any browser and it works without http:// -- except for Chrome.

This is an issue because when you put a URL shortcut on a print piece 1) it's very rare that someone puts that piece of a URL anymore and it goes against common and current practices, and 2) it's very rare that someone would actually type that into a browser these days, so they'd receive an error page regardless.

Am I missing something, or is there a solution to this problem that I haven't figured out yet?

    @Cory Whitehead Hello, and thank you so much for engaging in the community!

    I just wanted to clarify. Are you asking about adjusting the tools that can be used in Luminate Online to insert links from emails and PageBuilder pages to websites? Or are you asking about adjusting Luminate Online generated websites and resources so that you don't need the prefix when you enter the URL?

    (e.g., The difference between:
    When I make a button in an email in the Luminate Online Email Builder, I don't want to include http in the destination URL;
    vs
    When I create a new page in PageBuilder, I want users to get to that site even if they do not enter the http in the URL.)
