date last changed not updating, duplicate types allowed

Anyone else noticed that when editing phone/email info the ‘date last changed’ is not updating.?Also, our configuration rules allow only on entry per email type. I just saved record with duplicate types and got no error message. (working in db view)

Seems like RE is not functioning fully.

  • I just checked multiple records, new and existing, and the date last changed for phone and email are updating correctly. At the moment. RE database has been having hiccups for a while…

    DB view will allow you to use duplicate phone types if one of them is inactive. I don't understand how it works, but inactive phone types are treated as if they are not on the record.

    But I haven't noticed any issues with the date last changed recently.

    That's what I've experienced in the past. A pop-up when saving record if more one of the #s with the duplicate types is ‘active.’ Not getting that now. I have two active #s of the same type. Could definitely cause confusion in the future.

  • I have taken it to next-level redundancy. I have a phone type Inactive, this in addition to the checkbox for inactive.
