Gift processing automation

Hi all - While not directly related to BBCRM, I wanted to see if this group had any insights they could provide to me. We are struggling with our current gift processing service provider and instead of just shopping for a similar service, I am looking to replace them with an AI/Automation solution instead of the human touch approach that is used for about ½ of our processing. I would like to automate as much of the process from receipt of the mail to import into BBCRM as possible. I know we could build this in house, but I would much rather buy it as a service.

I am not finding any service providers out there that concentrate on the nonprofit space and the current cagers / gift processors do not appear to be making technology investments. Lots of companies doing telco, healthcare and other invoice processing using AI & automation but non doing gift processing. Is / has anyone else started to work on this internally or with any partners? Any insights that you may have would be greatly appreciated.
