IMPORTANT! Receipt history reset

Hi everyone, sorry for seemingly going quiet lately but we have been busy working on numerous updates. Unfortunately, our engineers have to make a change that will reset the receipt history within the Receipt Series screens. It will NOT affect the receipts sent to donors and gifts will still be marked as receipted.

What this will impact however, is the ability to access the receipt if you need to be able to generate a copy of the receipt.

We are hoping to make this change on Wednesday 4th May. Please let us know if you need more time or any assistance with this via this post or by emailing me (chris.ager@blackbaud.co.uk) and Poornima Rao (poornima.rao@blackbaud.com).

If you have issued any receipts to donors, you will be able to generate a PDF version of that receipt using the Reissue feature and changing the format to “PDF”. This can be found on the gift record and on the receipt series.

    Hi everyone,

    Just to let you know that we have decided to delay the reset of receipt history until we have completed a few more updates so not to risk having to repeat this at a later stage.

    We are planning the new date to run this update and will let you know in due course.

    Hi everyone,

    The receipt series reset is now planned for the 29th June after noon eastern time. It was delayed in the hopes that we only have a single refresh occurrence for updates to the feature.

    Just as a reminder, this means that the list within receipt series will be blank so please take copies for audit purposes but gifts receipted will be unaffected.
