  • @Shaun Porteous Thank you. What doesn't make sense to me for pledge payments is how can we in the same email thank them for setting up their monthly installments of pledge payments and then tell them they can cancel at any time. I can understand for recurring gifts, but not for pledge payment installments.

  • @Candy Reichert
Do you currently receipt all monthly transactions? If yes, how?

  • Same question: How do you send email payment notification to monthly donors who have emails every month? We cannot send several hundreds emails through outlook merge because quantities limitation. Any suggestions will help.

  • @Catherine Han we are going to use Salesforce Marketing Cloud to send the required transaction receipt.

  • @Anita Dundys Is it for offline monthly donation?

  • @Erin Macleod, I recently saw a post on LinkedIn that MasterCard has indicated that they will largely exempt Non-Profits from their new rules. Has anyone else seen something similar?

@Catherine Han As I understand it, yes.

My wording: “any charges initiated/automated by the organization.” Seemed like the only places not required was a payment/gift made by card holder online or one time where they walk in and we process on the spot. Probably other examples.

Sharing here, in case you all haven't seen it yet - MC updated their compliance guidelines, orgs are exempt until you have repeated charge-backs. I recommend you read through the document:
