Zip code proximity?

Is it possible to query on proximity to a zip code. For instance, querying to "Find all records within 20 miles of zip code xxxxxx” … ?

Does anyone have another way to get at that info–outside of looking at a map and including surrounding zip codes?

It is not possible to query based on proximity to a zip in Luminate Online's query module, but, there is a cool tool I have used before here:

With that tool you can find what zip codes are in a given radius. From there once you know the zip codes you can definitely query in LO for constituents who's zip code is within your listing of zips.

I am sure there are other tools and methodologies available as well, so I am excited to see what else other people have come up with! Please let me know here if you find something else workable! I'd love to hear what you come to for a solution.

This exact feature was included in the Luminate Beta when creating a List. You could just put in your zip code and radius size and it would even give you an estimate of how many records would be in your match, as opposed to having to save and build a query and then view the results. Really wish that feature would have been moved over to regular LO after Beta went away.
