Variable text in Receipts

Hey Community - I'm wondering if there is a way to add variable text into receipts? Our team would like to add a line that acknowledges a memorial donation in the text of the receipt. When looking at the options in the word merge document I haven't been able to locate an option to create any “if/then” merges. Am I missing something or is this just not possible in the basic Raiser's Edge receipting process? Thanks!

Yes you can add variable text, this is just a MS word mail merge functionality.

As long as you bring out the field in your mail > receipts (Fields to Include) tab, you can use conditionally add text.
