Event Highlight Links

In the parts guide the Event Highlights section includes the line

"it may also include links to the event calendars where users can view more details about the events."

I see where I can add a link to another calendar, but no way to link highlights to their actual events.

Hi Bryan,

This is Miranda from Blackbaud NetCommunity Support – The Event Calendar Highlights part is designed to show highlights from the specified event calendar(s) on the part. However currently, there is no specific event linking capability.

Here's an idea: Limit the part to just one calendar and use the URL to link a visitor to that single calendar so they can see what's going on. (Think of it as a “calendar teaser”). You can always put more than on Event Calendar Highlights part on a page in case you have more than one calendar to show.

Individual event linking is a great idea, so please consider adding that to our Idea Bank found on the Ideas tab here in Community. Here's the direct link to add that there:
