  • On the Create Disengaged Reader slide, about 30 minutes in. How is the Taken Web Action in 365 days group created? Also, what is Engagement Factor 5 relating to? I want to set this up, but these two lines are not explained in the presentation.

Also, is there a spot this info exists in a better manner? I looked in the Email Resource Center, but didn't see it. I would think it would live here:

A step-by-step guide would be really helpful for all clients looking to implement this.

    Thanks,

    Phil

You can create/edit Engagement Factors under “Data Management > Tasks > Task List”. Your org might already have some created, or you can create a new task and tie it to an Engagement Factor during the task creation. Each org's EF5 can be different; our EF5 is setup for 180 days instead of 365. When creating the new task, you can select which web actions count towards the engagement factor and for how long to attribute that info. Once your new Engagement Factor is created, you can go setup a query to look for anyone with say “Engagement Factor 5 > 0" AND "Engagement Factor 5 is not blank” and put those accounts into a rebuildable group.

  • Hey Daryl,

Thanks for your response. We have engagement factors setup and I am modifying them based on this webinar. I have them ready, but don't see exactly how they are tied together via this slide. The slides before this one are leading up to what is to be created. Unfortunately, that is not explained clearly on the audio or in the slide. We create EF4 in slide before, but then on this slide its EF5. I really want to know what is in the group 'Taken Web Action in 365 days' so I create it correctly. It's gotta be a query and I want to know the parameters of that query.

    Thanks,

    Phil
